This amazing exercise lengthens and tones your body, helping you look great on the beach … or in anything! This Pilates exercise uses a large number of core muscles all the way up the spine. You will increase your core strength as well as your flexibility. The bonus is that you feel and look great!
Roll ups are wonderful on their own. They’re also wonderful as the later part of a warmup, addition to any workout, abdominal workout pick-me-up, or beginning of a cool down.
The One-Day Challenge
Are you ready to feel great today? Start your challenge as early as you can, and follow along with us in the Roll Up Exercise – Lean Beach Body Video.
After completing the video, you will have performed 16 roll ups. To go more extreme, anytime you’ve been seated for a while, are inactive, or need a posture boost, repeat until you’ve completed 64 or more roll ups (8 sets). Go at your own pace. It’s important to articulate through your spine on the way up and down (feel each vertebrae of your spine peel off the ground one by one and replace on the ground one at a time). Proper form provides better results. It’s better to do fewer in good form than many in poor form.
