This week was a wonderful week! I still had my parents visiting (until Friday), and had some good quality family time.
I’ve also had the opportunity to start reviewing for Ellie activewear. So, I get to receive adorable clothes that are perfect for my fitness work, model them, and tell you all about them! Love it!
I also completed the 90 days of TurboFire this week. Read on below to see how my week went.
Sunday, March 10th:
Chea and I started the day with TurboFire Fire 55 EZ Class + 10 minutes of full-body stretching on the Power Plate! It’s really fun to work out with a great friend when possible!
Tom and Will were working today, so Chea and I went to La Jolla Cove with my parents. It was a gorgeous day, and we had lunch at Georges, a restaurant that has a beautiful view of the ocean.
There wasn’t anything directly on the menu to suit my diet, but I was able to get the fish tacos with extra veggies instead of fish and corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas. It worked out well. Then we walked along La Jolla Cove and saw the seals from afar. 🙂
Then my mom, Chea, and I had girly time and had our nails done. Oh so relaxing!

Monday, March 11th:
Sunday was supposed to be my rest day for workouts this week as it’s my final TurboFire week. However, I wanted to work out on Sunday, so today was my rest day.
I used today to get caught up on some items and worked my normal morning and afternoon. Then I spent some quality family time in the evening!
Day 107 complete. Quality time is the best!
Tuesday, March 12th:
I completed Fire 45 EZ Class + 10 minutes of full-body stretching on the Power Plate.
My brother, Will’s, and my birthdays are next week. As my parents are only in town part of this week, we had an additional early celebration with my family. It was fabulous! My mom (with some assistance from Tom and me for fun and especially because of her broken arm) made a sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free carrot and zucchini cake. It turned out very tasty. I loved it anyway. 🙂
I’ll provide the recipe sometime, so you can try it! We also celebrated with a game night. We played one of my favorite board games, Cashflow 101.
Day 108 complete. I had fun with early birthday celebrations!
Wednesday, March 13th:
Today I started the day with TurboFire HIIT 20 Class + 10 minutes of full-body stretching on the Power Plate.
I’ve really enjoyed listening to Brian Tracy’s audiobook Time Management for Results this week. It has some great time management ideas in it. Check out the other Brian Tracy time management products.
Day 109 complete. Time Management for Results is a great audiobook!
Thursday, March 14th:
I did a 30 minute weight and strength circuit workout of my own creation before my photo shoot + 10 minutes of full-body stretching on the Power Plate.
The Ellie clothes I received are so stylish, comfortable, easy to move in, and light weight. I wore them all day and even then I wanted to wear them the next day. I feel the Ellie clothes have more attention to detail than most activewear brands.
I particularly loved the pink trim and keyhole back on the sports bra and the open back and fit on the tank. I wish Ellie activewear clothes would have been around when I was training six days a week as an ice dancer. They would have been perfect for my ice dance training and fitness training. Now, they are ideal for my fitness training, work, and around town!
Day 110 complete. A photo shoot on the beach is awesome!
Friday, March 15th:
I went for a lovely walk with Tom for my workout tonight + 10 minutes full-body stretching on the Power Plate. Also, I gave my body some TLC by soaking in the hot tub with Tom!
Day 111 complete. I had lovely evening with Tom!
Saturday, March 16th:
Today was my rest day for working out. After Tom and I finished work, it was great to have some time for just the two of us. Date night!
Day 112 complete and a fun date night!
It was awesome to complete TurboFire and do some extra TurboFire workouts, too! I will definitely do more TurboFire in the future.
I had a fantastic time modeling the Ellie clothes on the beach this week! I’ve done modeling in the past and loved it. My favorite type of modeling is fitness modeling. My own variation of a sugar-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free vegetarian diet:
Sugar-free consists of no sugar, sugar substitutes, honey, or other equivalent except for a small amount of preferably natural sweetener that is already in a product such as bread or whey protein.
Dairy-free includes a few exceptions. I’m including whey protein. I also have times of experimenting with Greek yogurt and regular yogurt to see if they are beneficial to me. In addition, I include eggs in my diet, which is a variation from a vegan diet.
Gluten-free also includes a few exceptions. I include Ezekiel Bread or sprouted bread, which is close to gluten-free in how it’s digested but not actually gluten-free. Some gluten-free plans say oats are fine and some do not. I include oats in my plan.
My fitness plan:
My exercise consists of workouts 6 days per week. The only exception can be if I do an additional workout on a day to count for one of the days or on a recovery week every few months.
