My name is Christina Chitwood, although I’m often referred to by my nickname, Chrissy. I was a World-level ice dancer representing Great Britain with my ice-dance partner, Mark Hanretty. Mark and I became professional show skaters in June 2010. I started my figure-skating career skating pairs with my brother, Will.  Later, I devoted my competitive skating to ice dance, although I became a quintuple gold test medalist through US Figure Skating in moves in the field, free skating, pairs, dance and free dance.

My performing-arts background includes extensive dance training starting with ballet at age 5.  I was a DJ, dancer and model for Dancing DJ Productions and a figure-skating competition announcer in Colorado Springs, which contributed to my skill and confidence in performing and speaking in front of large audiences.  I have a BA (Hons) degree from Sheffield Hallam University in Performance and Professional Practice with First Class Honours.  I enjoy using the acting skills gained in my degree program when teaching performance classes and private lessons.  My performance skills are also used in public-relations interviews as well as in acting and modeling opportunities.

My lifelong attention to health and fitness has led to my work as a skating and fitness specialist.  In addition to my general qualifications, I’ve gained specialized qualifications in personal training, Stott Pilates, Zumba, sports conditioning, pre- and post-natal training, Power Plate (including post-natal Power Plate training), first aid, and safeguarding and protecting children. I take pride in helping individuals improve their health and fitness, achieve their goals, and become the best they can be.
